BY-LAW 99- 148
Being a By-law to amend the Skateboard and Bicycle By-law
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington
deems it necessary to amend By-law 89-107 regulating the use of bicycles and
skateboards;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of
the Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows:
1. Section 4 is repealed in its entirety and replaced with the following:
4. No person shall ride a skateboard or bicycle on any public street in
a manner likely to interfere with the movement of traffic.
5. Every person who contravenes any provision of this by-law is guilty
of an offence and liable to a fine on conviction as provided for in the
Provincial Offences Act.
2. This By-law shall come into full force and effect on the date of its final
passage.
BY-LAW read a first time this 12th day of October, 1999

BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 12th day of October, 1999
