In an effort to meet the increased demand for Court time, the By-law Division has had to borrow time from the Durham Regional Police Dockets and arrange for special dates in the Provincial Court in Whitby. Attempts are being made to increase the allocated Court time in order to alleviate the backlog and resolution time. 545
