These levies should be cir,arged equally against all lots whether created
by plan of Subdivision or consent. Where properties are charged for
water and /or sewer services on another basis (eg. frontage rate) the
maximwn lot levy should be 6 500 per unit to avoid double charging for
the same service. A copy of this report if approved by Council should
be sent to the Ministry of housing and the Land Division Committee. The
Regional Engineering Department have suggested that these levies should
be adopted in the form of a By -law and that they will remain in effect
only until the Region has determined its own charges for hegional
services. The money collected should be kept in a separate account
until that time.
