Annette called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM

Old Business:
Update on Survey of Orono by Urban Planning Group to take place
Update on DBIA Visit with Santa, Liz Platt and her little helpers are arranging a Float on which
Santa will be driven into town. He will be in front of the Town Hall between 11:00AM and 1:00 PM
on Saturday November 26, 2011 to hand out candy canes to the children of Orono.
We have co-ordinated this event with the Clarington Christmas and the Town Fall's Gift Show.
Scott is getting the candy canes. There will also be a draw for prizes that have been donated by
local businesses and the proceeds will be for the Cancer Fund.
Update on our Orono Flyers: Lisa has canvassed the Downtown businesses and has taken the
corrected forms to the Printers.
The Christmas decorations need to be refurbished and Scott has taken on the job, the money for it
will come from the GIC . All are in favour.
The lights have been reinstalled on the sign on the highway.
Next meeting will be January 11, 2012
