Present: Flora,Scott, Bryon,Shelly Regrets: John Thompson, Irene Matchett
DISCUSSED:
1. Changing the tie of the road closure. 9 - 5 instead of 9 -4. Need to talk to Gord
Robinson about this. Scott will do this.
2. Chili testing from 1:30 until 3:00.
3. Chili cook off will be September 25t' and the cut off for registration will be September
20'h, 2010.
4. We decided not to have a beer tent this year.
5. We are funded by the DIBA. Outlined terms of association with them.
6. Our charity organizer will be the Food Bank.
7. Decided to raise the kits form $2 to $4.
8. Shelly will find out prices for lamination of the booth numbers.
9. We are getting signs for parking, bathroom, silent auction.
10. We decided not to have outside tasting by the judges. Continue inside.
11. Shelly will check out other bands from Cathy as well as KX96. Pricing will also be
checked?
12. Flora will check out the price of Hoppies Heros for the band.
13. We will have apple, pumpkin and lemon pie for the pie auction this year.
14. Shelly will ask Charlie Reid about auctioneering.
15. Silent auction place up in the air right now.
16. Scott will ask John Witheridge about Ming the event.
17. Bryon will donate the colour fabric for the silent auction tables.
18. Shelly will call Jackie about mascot.
19. Shelly will call Terry Johnson about being at the event all day and the cost.
20. Shelly will contact Forsey, Swan and Kirby signs.
21. Next meeting will be April 21110 at Flora's house.
