GATEHOUSE HOLDINGS O.P. AMENDMENT
Gatehouse Holdings Ltd. have applied to the Regional Planning
Department for an amendment to the Darlington Official Plan
and to the Ministry of Housing for approval of two plans of
subdivision covering an area immediately north and south of
the Darlington Second Concession Road. This application invol-
ves 255 single family dwellings, 88 semi detached dwellings and
several large blocks for twon housing, link housing and neigh-
bourhood commercial uses.
Since this area is currently under study by both of our consult-
ant, I would recommend that both the Ministry and the Region
be informed that the plan is considered premature at this time,
but that copies of the plan be forwarded to both of our consult-
ants for their information and consideration.
