I. Call to order at 9:32 a.m.
2. Motion to Approve November Minutes: S.Lawrence
Seconded: J.Foxall CARRIED
3. Business Arising from the Minutes:
Have accepted Orono's proposal on the division of west-end money.
Budget was discussed.
Annual Meeting will be Jan.19rh at Massey House at 6:00 p.m.
4. Treasurer's Report: Balance: $12,773.48
Motion to Approve: T.Vanhaverbeke
Seconded: G.Robinson CARRIED
The annual budget will remain at $25,000.00. The expenditure for
new wreaths and banners will come out of west end money over a
period of three years.
Approve budget proposal: S.Lawrence Seconded: G.Lewis
CARRIED Budget will be finally approved at the Annual Meeting.
5. Committee Reports:
Urban Planning: Wreaths and garlands are in place.
A discussion regarding what to do with old wreaths that are stored.
New Canadian flags will be placed in the spring.
Motion to retain Paul Jones to repair lights and flags.

Theresa has sent out flyers to schools and Gift of Art regarding new
banner design.
Newcastle horticultural Society has applied for a Trillium grant for
Further beautification of Town Hall grounds.
All businesses should be proactive in advertising Newcastle.

Special Events: The Santa Breakfast served over 700 people.
A great success. Thanks to all the volunteers.
The Santa Claus Parade was successful with 72 entries.
Thanks to Martha and her committee for the organization.
