Antique Show in August was well attended. Business felt they did well that day. Looking forward to

Chili Cook-off
531 taste kits sold
silent auction -$970.00 and $129. still o/s
money went to the newcastle food bank-$1000. - Kraft Challenge matched the amount
Sub committee - possible changes
pre-sale or earlier sale of taste bags OR more stations??

One issue with a drunk contestant
rules to be ammended to read no alcohol or disqualified
if persons enter and have more than one chili going they need to fill out extra forms
Had 26 entries-Still had some electrical problems

Big Box store news-Newcastle again rejected 35%
Yvonne suggested to put 35% in writing through the lawyer first before taking lower amount
Bowmanville Memorial Hospital sent a letter of thanks in regard to last years donation
Letter has to go out to thank OPG and Jonathans country patch.
