The meeting was called to order by the President at 10:00 a.m. 2. Minutes from the May 17th meeting were reviewed. Motion to Accept: K. Bastas Seconded: D.Hickson CARRIED 3. Business Arising from the Minutes: 1. Times of monthly meetings were discussed. July meeting is cancelled. Resume in August and stay with the 10:00 a.m. time. All current contacts are. heeded for all BIA busioe-sses In o rder to make sure they are all informed of meetings. 2. A flyer can go to all the businesses to irrfor•rrr therrI of i,pcatz.:a:g events and their cant-acts, as well as compiling updated e-mail lists. 3. Gord Robinson will write letters to Mary Wilson afid Effie eDol-191(1 t1mr,1 stt- tbenl for all their efforts for the Newcastle BIA. 4. President's Report: Valentine reported that the execartive committee chase Brenda Metcalf as Treasurer and Jane Black as Secretary of the Newea ¢l° BIA. He l as l cal Mary Wilson for her worh and stated he had all the papers and documents for the new officers at his office.
