S _ 2 SULXJL-CTe BY —LAW ENFORCEMENT MONTHLY REPORT F I Res. # 8y -Law # RECOMMENDATIONS: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1. THAT Report PD- 174 -89 be received for information. 1.1 The following pertinent statistics relating to the general activities of the By -law Enforcement Division are attached for the information of the Committee and Council. The statistics are approximate number at the time of preparation. 1.2 Since the introduction of a two man enforcement unit, the By -law Division is now operating smoothly. The work volume is still phenomenal but the two new officers are acting expediously with proper follow up. Several actions before the Court have been withdrawn due to lack of real evidence. New charges have been laid.
