Subject: MONITORING OF THE DECISIONS OF THE COMMITTEE OF ADJUSTMENT
FOR THE MEETING OF APRIL 27, 1995
FILES: A95/011 TO A95/015 INCLUSIVE
Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD -50 -95 be received;
2. THAT Council concur with the decisions of the Committee of
Adjustment made on April 27, 1995; and
3. THAT Staff be authorized to appear before the Ontario
Municipal Board to defend the decisions of the Committee of
Adjustment in the event of an appeal.
1.1 In accordance with Section 45 of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990,
all applications received by
the Municipality for minor
variance are scheduled to be heard within 30 days of being
received by the Secretary Treasurer. The Committee heard five
applications at the April 27, 1995 meeting APPROVING four and
TABLING one.
1.2 Details of each application and the Committee of Adjustment
decisions are included in the attachments. A 95/015 was
tabled to the next available meeting to allow the
recirculation of an amended application. This property is
presently undergoing a severance and a minor variance is
necessary to facilitate this. The applicant is applying for
relief from the by -law to allow an interior side yard setback
of 0.452 metres instead of the required 1.2 metres. This is

a further reduction that was originally applied for as the
