Soccer League Take Over
Please find attached a Memorandum of Agreement (Contrast) requested
by the Committee at the meeting of January 19th, 1981.
I have discussed a draft agreement with the Bowtnanville United
Youth Soccer Club and also with Mr. David Sims, Acting Administrator.
The Bowmanville United Youth Soccer Club felt there was no need for
a Contract. However, in consultation with Mr. Sims, the Contract was
changed to a Memorandum of Agreement of Understanding and a number
of articles in the draft were either changed or deleted.

Whereas, the Town of Newcastle has previously operated
the 'Ibwn of Bomminville Recreation Soccer Leagcze and the Bowmanville
United Youth Soccer Club now wishes to take over and operate this
programme.
And whereas, the 'Pawn of Newcastle considers this to be
desirable; NCAV TIIE PARTIES AGRF:I, AS FOLD WS:
1. All of the ecluilxment is listed on the attached sheet and
hereby transfered to the Bowm,,uiville United Youth Soccer
Club.
2. henceforth, the Bowmanville United Youth Soccer Club will.
receive sole responsibility to the running of the Bowma.nville
Recreation Soccer It-,ague.
3. 'Ilse Tomi of Newcastle will not be responsible for any injury
to any person or participant in the soccer gamies or activities
organized by the Bowmmiville United Youth Soccer Club.
4. The Bowmuiville United Youth Soccer Club will abide by the
rules, regulations quid by-laws of the Town of Newcastle.
