THE ORONO ARENA COMMUNITY CENTER BOARD
May 6, 2008

GUESTS: Rick Howe (chair of O.A.A.A.)
CALL TO ORDER: by chair at 7:41 pm
Moved by Gard Lowery seconded by Laverne Boyd that we accept the
agenda as presented by the chair.
Passed
The minutes were read:
Moved by John Witheridge seconded by Gard Lowery that minutes were
accepted.
Passed
FINACIAL STATEMENT: As a new accountant is making changes to the
bookkeeping procedures, there was no report for this meeting.
BUSINESS ARISING:
1 . Arena minutes were read and entered into the minutes. The secretary
of the Q.A.A.A. was asked through Rick Howe to forward minutes to
the board secretary so he can forward them to the Municipality via e-
mail and report to the board on arena matters.
2. The Risk Management Policy for the arena was read by the secretary
and forwarded to the Municipality for suggestion. Jim Abernathy was
also requested to check the coverage for insurance purposes.
MOTION # 1 MOVER: Tom Moffat SECONDER: Laverne Boyd
THAT: The Risk Management Policy of the O.A►.A.A. be received.
PASSED
3. The chair presented his report for the walk about. The items on the list
will be handled by the O.A.A.A. with assistance of Board if required.
Next meeting is scheduled for October 1, 2008 at 7:30 Passed
