CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON

being a by-law to authorize an application to be made to Council as the
approving authority under the Expropriations Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.E.26 for the
approval of the expropriation of all interests in the lands described as 62 East
Beach Road, Bowmanville, Part Lot 9, Broken Front Concession, Smart Plan
H50073, former Town of Newcastle, designated as Part 3 on Plan 10R-1734,
for the purposes of a district park
WHEREAS at its meeting on October 12, 2004, Council approved Report PSD-125-04
which recommended enactment of this By-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Council hereby authorizes an application to be made to the Council of the
Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington as the approving authority under
subsection 4(1) of the Expropriations Act R.S.O. 1990 c.E.26, as amended, for
the approval of the expropriation of all interests in the lands described as 62
East Beach Road, Bowmanville, Part Lot 9, Broken Front Concession, Smart
Plan H50073, former Town of Newcastle, designated as Part 3 on Plan 10R-
1734, for the purposes of a district park.
2. That Council hereby authorize staff to take all necessary actions to serve notice
of its application for approval to expropriate upon the owners of the land to be
expropriated and to publish the aforesaid notice in accordance with subsection
6(1) of the Expropriations Act.
