February 23, 2010

Discussions:
Committee Positions
We are still looking for a committee member to take on the Treasurer's position. Sher Leetooze
has declined and will not be corning on as Treasurer.
We currently have the following positions that we are looking to fill:
Chairperson
Treasurer
Costumes/Buttons
Pacers
Dave Comeau will be coming on the committee and will assist Janine with the Floats & Fillers
Robin Lacey (Terryl`s sister) is interested in the Costumes & Buttons position. Dawn will be
following up with her to talk about what the position entails.
Both Dave & Robin will be invited to attend the next meeting
Roger put forward the suggestion that we create job descriptions for each position so that when
we are filling a position the candidates could go through a short interview process. This would
assist in ensuring that newcomers are clear as to the expectations for the position.
Theme 2010
We currently do not have a theme picked for 2010.
12 Days of Christmas, Christmas Wish, 0 Christmas Tree, Home for Christmas, Remember
those who are Away were all suggestions.
Ferryl will e-mail everyone for an on-line vote so that Dawn can get the theme to David th?
button creator so that we could have a prototype for the next meeting
50tr, Anniversarl
The float will need to be redesigned for the 50th Anniversary. Dawn would like to be in charge of
the float for this anniversary. A budget will need to be decided on this year so that she can start
with the planning.
Financial_R2port
Marie was unable to attend this meeting and will present the financial report at next meeting
Wehsite
We need to find someone who will take on Mark`s role in maintaining the website. If anyone has
any ideas please bring them to the next meeting.
