The issue of recreational users parking along the Town of Newcastle and the Township of Manvers boundary road was brought to the attention of the Authority through the Ganaraska Forest Recreational Users Committee. Of particular concern was winter parking because of interference with private driveways and municipal snow removal . We would ask that Council give consideration to plowing the area noted as an offroad parking area for winter recreational users in this section of the Forest. Councillors Frank Stapleton and Diane Hamre are familiar with the background of this request and are prepared to speak to the matter as necessary. Our staff is available at your convenience to look at the site with your works department, as they feel necessary. Looking forward to a favourable response to this request, I am, Yours truly, Heather Rutherford (Mrs. ) Chief Administrative Office HR/B. Hancock/jml Encl . cc: F. Stapleton D.
