RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT this report be received; and
2. THAT a by-law be passed to dedicate Part 24 of Plan 1OR-2544 as
public road allowance and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized
to execute said by-law.
REPORT
1.0 BACKGROUND
1.1 The Town has received land division application for the development
of a parcel of land on Foxhunt Trail which is located south of
Highway #2 and east of Townline Road South in Courtice (see Attachment No.l)
1.2 The lands in question are protected by a 0.3 m reserve, described as
Part 24, Plan 1OR-2544 which was required to control the development
of this land (see Attachment N0.2) .

1.3 Upon reviewing the land division applications the Town had imposed several
conditions for the approval of these reverences. Accordingly, the applicant
has satisfied all the conditions, and the severences were cleared.
1.4 The development of these lands has proceeded in a manner satisfactory to
the Town and the 0.3 metre reserve is no longer required. Therefore,
it is now appropriate to dedicate this 0.3 metre reserve as public road
allowance.
2.0 RECOMMENDATION
2.1 It is, therefore, recommended that a by-law be passed to dedicate
Part 24, Plan 10R-2544 as public road allowance and the Mayor and Clerk be
authorized to execute said by-law.
