"CARRIED" Petition re Mrs. Joyce Bell and two other ladies appeared before Bussing School Council in support of a petition to Council that a Children bus be provided to convey the school children from from Waverly the Waverly Gardens area pending the provision of a Road bus by the Board of Education. THAT the matter be referred to the Community Services Commmittee to meet with the District Supervisor of the Board of Education to discuss the situation and study the Board of Education responsibility relative to the provision of school facilities in the subdivision and report back to Council, the petitioners being advised of the time and place of the meeting. "CARRIED" Grant Request Mr. Jack Beech, Executive Director of the Great Pine Great Pine Ridge Tourist Council, appeared before Council relative Ridge to a grant. Tourist Council Resolution OC-74-249 Moved by Con. Hobbs, seconded by Con. Wearn. THAT the request be- referred to the Finance Committee for recommendation. "CARRIED" 3 - i Animal Mrs. M. Brierton appeared before Council relative to a Control press report about the licence fees for pure bred dogs. By-Law Mrs. Brierton was sal isfied that the provisions of the by-law were not as she interpreted from the press report and she registered no complaint with the by-law. Amendment #8 Mr. Graham Dallas appeared before Council to complain to Former about Council's action on referring Amendment #8 of Township of the Official. Plan of the former Township of Darlington Darlington to the Planning Advisory Committee for study. Official Plan Animal Mrs. Mary Keen appeared before Council complaining about Control the lack of Animal Control in the former Village of Newcastle area.
