Town of Newcastle 40 Temperance Street Bowmanville, Ontario f:: L1C 3A6 r Dear Patty This is in reference to the bus loading zone at Bowmanville Senior Public School, located at 105 Queen Street. The bus loading zone is presently situated in front of the school on Queen Street. The principal has expressed a concern regarding the volume of traffic on this street and has asked me to look into the possibility of loading and unloading the buses on Queen Avenue to the east of the school. I am talking with Goodyear Canada Inc in an attemPT-to obtain permission to turn the buses in their parking lot. In the event that this is successful, I would like to relocate the loading zone to the east side of Queen Avenue adjacent to the school. I would also like to look at the possibility of decreasing the size of the parking zone on the west side of Queen Avenue to facilitate the movement of the buses. I would apprectiate your direction and comments regarding this situation; feel free to contact me at your convenience.
