PARTS 1 AND 2 - PLAN 1OR-3549
TRUDEAU DRIVE, BOWMANVILLE
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report WD-44-90 be received;
2 . THAT a by-law be passed to dedicate Parts 1 and 2, of Plan
1OR-3549 as Public Road Allowance and that the Mayor and Clerk be
authorized to execute said by-law; and
3. THAT a copy of this report be forwarded to Mr. Lawrence C. Wesson.

2.0 BACKGROUND
2 . 1 Attached is a copy a letter from Mr. Lawrence C. Wess"on (Attachment
No.2) requesting that the road widening described as Parts 1 and
2 of Plan 1OR-3549 be dedicated as Public Road Allowance.

2 .2 The purpose of. Mr. Wesson's request is to provide clear and
unobstructed access for the homeowners of Plan 1OM-800 using
Trudeau Drive as access to Concession Street.
2 . 3 The subject road widening is located in the former Town of
Bowmanville on the east side of Trudeau Drive (see Attachment
No. 1) .
2 .4 Part 1 of Plan 1OR-3549 was originally transferred to the Town
through the development of Plan 1OM-800 in 1988 as Block 82 .
2 .5 Part 2 of Plan 1OR-3549 has been transferred to the Town in
February 1990 through the Subdivision Application of Plan
18T-89065 for the lands abutting the east side of Trudeau Drive.
2 . 6 In order to deal with Mr. Wesson's request staff have reviewed this
matter and find it is now appropriate to dedicate these road
widenings as public road allowance.
3.0 RECOMMENDATION
3 . 1 It is, therefore, recommended that the road widening being Parts
1 and 2 of Plan 10R-3549 be dedicated as Public Road Allowance and
that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute said by-law.
