P EASE NOTF The next Newcastle Thill 13d,, will hold their next
meeting on ,Tine 18, 1990 at 7:30 p .m.
The Newcastle Hall Board meeting was held on May 211 at 7:3O with R. B. Pickard,
S. Dejong, N. H oogk.arr, P. Adams and r. Stapleton present.
A motion by N. HHoogkarrp and seconded by F, Stapleton that the minutes be
approved. - CARRIED
Old Business:
Certificate for B. Pearce has been delivered,
Telephone long distance has been fixed.

Discussion on the Bawling Alley request for a waiver of rent was tabled
until a later meting.
12 rehearsals and 5 performances for the play "The Visit" . Dan. "raw &
Jake Kelly will be renting the hall - these are high school and university
students pooling their talents over the sum�er_

Bills: Moved by F. Stapleton and seconded by N. HHoogkamp that the bills be
paid. - CAPR1ED
New Business:
R. B. 'Pickard turned off furnaces. Soot in hall very bad - furnace not
safe. F. Stapleton looking into progress of tenders for new furnace.
R. B. Rickard discussed the importance of inspecting the new building next
to the Town Hall. Theyhave excavated nearby to the bottom of the present
retaining wall. F. Stapleton to look into this matter.
It was moved by P. Stapleton and seconded by N. Hoo*ate' that the meeting be
adjoured.
