1. Land Acknowledgement Statement - read by Ron
2. Declaration of Pecuniary Interest - none
3. Questions from last meetings notes -none
4. Costumes - as per last meeting 3 3Xl elf costumes were ordered and put in workshop. We
should have enough costumes for this year. Cailiey to bring it up at future meeting should there
be a need
5. Sponsorship
- Tired system this year ( $100- shoutout/website) ($1200 - title sponsor -
shoutout/website/committee float/gold star?)
- Banners- who should get one? Pin for next meeting vote
- Spreadsheet (Angela to make) to organize sponsors( eg $1000 OPG, $500
Elexicon,$500 Kinsmen bingo)
- Try for bigger sponsors (Tim Hortons, McDonalds, Starbucks, Coke, etc through
corporate)
- Local Olympic stars on committee float?
6. Christmas in July pancake breakfast- Saturday July 25, 2026 (PIN and revisit next meeting)
- Location: Clubhouse (Martin/Baseline)
- Jonathan to confirm if Katherine available and clubhouse
- Sponsorship for event - try Loblaws/Freshco for food donations ? Other sponsors?
7. Scooter Coffee (Markols)
- Offered to service coffee at Christmas in July breakfast
- Book now
- Add them as a sponsor?
8. Any other info:
- Walmart for selling buttons - Sandra to wait on call back from manager
- Meeting with Rhonda on Board of Trade - create a working relationship to help get
sponsorship, create a badge?, suggestion of bowmanville business first vs big sponsors

- Book bands now (especially Shriners bus and pirate ship) (Angela) and school bands

9. Next meeting : Friday April 17, 2026 at 7p.m.
- Future meetings- April will be in person then zoom meetings over summer
