Councillor Bill Clarke & Margaret Brereton present.
It was moved by Couch', seconded by HHoogka p , the minutes be
ad. op t ed as- prepared. Carried :
(a,),,',it was reported the landscaping was almost completed
with only a little left t to be done.
(b) . The Horticultural society has been working on the Hall
grounds & dog a marvelous Job.

It was suggested louvres be installed in both the east
west ends of the room to further help ventilate the
room.

(d) all furnaces have been cleaned
(e) chimney top needs new copper fiashings & north chimney
leaks into the stage area.
(f) there was some d.ialogue on the hail drahnay;e system
action m�.y be taken later when more infornation is
garnered.
(g) Si erd . reported the Town, of Newcastle Library Board
will rent the vacatedP.U.C.rooms, but it was decided
no action will be taken ' until an- agreement is signed.

(1) Lynn Lovekin - re. request from A.C.W. re. utensils
in the downstairs kitchen.'
Thi s letter was turned over to Audrey Walton to use her
discretion re, purchases.
(2,) Arena Fund Rai sing roved by Hoogkamp , seconded by
d eJong , this request for refund on
Monte Carlo Nite, be filed. Carried
(3) Newcastle H.E.C. vocal tender of l 50.0o to buy
furniture (except vault) left in
P.U.C.. offices is accepted. Moved
by C ouch, seconded by Hoogkamp, , we
buy all remaining furniture (except
vaul) in the P.U.C. offices for
$1500"'009 Carried
