Minutes of meeting held Monday• March 30/J.
The regular meeting of this Board was held Monday, March 30th; with
Na,rda Hoogkamp, Fred Couch,, Sierd deJong and Margaret Brereton
present,
In the absence o#' our Chairman. Fred Couch chaired the
_ ITkeC-ting.
It was moved by IIo.ogrkamp, seconded by deJong, the minutes be
accepted as prepared. Carried.
Old Business 1. (1) fire alarm system is all ready to be hooked
up to Hall 2 -- just waiting for a part from
Eki.ward S ,
(2). Plastering is Completed.
(3) Painting is completed.
Correspondences (1) Town of Newcastle re, budget meetings.
(2) Horticultural Society — re. renovations
to exterior of Hall.
Moved by Hoogkamp, seconded by deJong, any renovations to. the out—
side of the Hall will be left till Fall. Carried:
The secretary was instructed tb .write the Horticultural Society
and tell them renovations will be postponed until Fall, at which
time a meeting with their executive will be requested to discuss
their participation.
It was moved by ded ong, seconded by Hoogkamp, all correspondence
be received and filed., Carried;
The following Treasurer's Report was acc ep L. ed on a motion by
deJong; seconded by Ho o kaiap and Carried, .

for payment be paid. Carried;
There was some discussion about the kitchen cupboards being left
open. It was also suggested, during discussions,. the spotlights
which are, at present, turned off & on in the projection room
