A meeting of the Newcastle
Hall Board was held
or --'.rch 7th with Narda Hoogkamp,
Betty
Adams, Fred
Couch, Jim Beam, Christ Barchard,
Carole
Gardner and
Brenton Rickard present.
iinntes of the previous meeting were
read and
accepted as read by Couch & Adams.
A new vacuum cleaner for the Hall
was discussed.
Chris is to try 3-4 different ones and report as to which
one he .would like.

Repairs
The Van Ro bill is to be held till painting is
finished, & Tennants to be held till we discuss it with
them, and the Bowling bill to be passed on to the Bowling
Association. Couch moved that the rest of the bills be
paid. Seconded by Hoogkamp.
Couch is to look after installing weather stripping
around the doors in the kitchen and enquiring as to the cost
of installing caging on the windows.
The secretary is to write the Town asking that they
go ahead with increasing the size of the water pipes into the
hall. VV1loved by Hoogkamp and seconded by Couch. Also to ask
them to have the dead trees around the hall cut down. 1 wove d
by Couch, seconded by Adams.
Rickard is to ask Frank Stapleton about selling the
old folding chairs.
Proved by Couch, seconded by Hoogkamp that the meeting
be adjourned.
