Betty Adams, Fred Couch, Narda Hoogkamp and Brenton Rickard present.
In the absence of Carole Gardner Hoogkamp acted as secretary.
Minutes of Dec 28/77 meeting were read and approved by Couch and Adams
Correspondence: Letter from Mason's with final payment 1977 rental
and some question regarding kitchen.
Note attached with oil bill and letter from Town of Newcastle that vent -
alarm on oil intake pipe is not working, it is not too serious and
Rickard will look into it.

Moved by Couch seconded by Adams all bills be paid, VanIto to be paid
$3.000.00 remainder when job completed.
Chris Barchard who atte&dad meeting was asked about problems or
suggestions. Vacuum cleaner is in poor working condition and it was
decided to check prices for a new dry/wet cleaner.
Albert Pearce on behdve of the Bowling Committee approached Hall Board
as to the future of the Bowling Ally's
They have been refinished in 1975 and he also had an estimate dating several
years back, on complete renewal — cost between 20 to 25 thousand dollars.
He felt it was not worth it spending that kind of money in present location.
It was suggested by Board that Bowling Committee replace and fix
whatever seems necessary and �y rent if any revenue left.
Bowling Committee at present consist of three members: Albert Pearce,
Ron Burley and Marilyn Pearce as sec--treas. They had received a letter
from Town of Newcastle requesting names of five Board members (Insurance
purpose) They will carry on as is.
No further bu ssiness meeting adjourned to inspect paint job on
way out.
