AND FURTHER THAT this resolution be forwarded to the Honourable Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, the Honourable Paul Calandra, Minister of Education, and all Ontario Municipalities. CARRIED. Sincerely, Chandra Alexander Manager of Corporate Services/Clerk cc: All Ontario Municipalities Page 4 Notice of Study Commencement Scugog Edgerton Road Bridge Replacement The Study: The Township of Scugog is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) to evaluate options for improvements (i.e., rehabilitation, replacement, removal, or do nothing) to the Edgerton Road Bridge (Bridge No. 11). The Process: The project is anticipated to be completed as a Schedule B of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process (Municipal Engineers Association, February 2024), which is an approved process under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act. The project will evaluate and recommend solutions in consultation with the public, Indigenous Communities, stakeholders, and agencies. At the conclusion of the project, the process will be documented in a Project File Report, prepared for public review. Your Input is Important! The Township would like to ensure that anyone interested in this project has the opportunity to provide input into the planning and design of the project.
