The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington
By-law 2025 - 044
Being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, the Comprehensive Zoning By-law for The
Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington, for the Temporary Use of one
shipping/cargo container on lands located at 2020 Lambs Road, Bowmanville.
The Municipality of Clarington enacts:
1. The lands subject to this by law are listed below and may be amended as
necessary;
i. 2020 Lambs Road, Bowmanville (Municipally owned Camp 30 lands)
2. This By-law will be in full force and effect between May 23, 2025, and May 23,
2028.
3. Under the authority granted by the Province of Ontario through the Municipal Act,
2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 and the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, Municipal
Council has delegated to the Deputy CAO of Planning & Infrastructure Services,
with the passing of By-law 2024-042, the authority to approve temporary use
zoning by-laws and pass related by-laws pursuant to s.34 of the Planning Act.
Now therefore, be it enacted, and it is hereby enacted as a by-law of The Corporation of
the Municipality of Clarington as follows:
4. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of approval, subject to the provisions
of Sections 34 and 39 of the Planning Act, between May 23, 2025, and May 23,
2028.
