By-law 2025-037
Being a By-law to amend By-law 2014-059, a by-law to regulate traffic and parking, by
updating Schedule 1 – No Stopping.
Whereas Schedule “C” of the Delegation of Authority By-law 2024-042 authorizes the
Deputy CAO Public Services to pass a by-law to amend any of the Schedules 1, 2, 3, 7,
8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 22, or 23 of the Traffic and Parking By-law 2014-
059, or any successor by-law, in a form satisfactory to the Municipal Solicitor, and in
exercising this authority the Deputy CAO Public Services shall have regard to public
safety and the efficient and effective movement of traffic;
And arising from the Traffic Briefing Note dated July 25, 2025 regarding the same
matter;
Now therefore the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows:
1. Schedule 1 of the Clarington Traffic and Parking By-law 2014-059, as amended,
is deleted and replaced with Schedule 1 attached to this By-law.
Effective Date
2. That this by-law shall come into force and effect on the date of approval.
