SUBJECT: DEDICATION OF PART 11 OF PLAN 1OR-2374,
PART 5 AND 14 OF PLAN 10R-2773j,
PARTS 15, 16, 17, 18 AND 35 OF PLAN 1OR-2622,
PART 26 OF PLAN 1OR-2432 AS PUBLIC ROAD ALLOWANCE
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT this report be received; and
2. THAT a by-law be passed to dedicate part 11 of Plan 1OR-2374,
Part 5 and 14 of Plan 1OR-2773, Parts 15, 16, 17, 18 and 35 of
Plan 1OR-2622 and Part 26 of Plan 1OR-2432 as Public Road Allowance
and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute said by-law.
1.0 BACKGROUND
1.1 The Town had received a series of Land Division Applications for the
development and extension of Kingswood, Drive in Courtice as noted and
shown on Attachment No.l.
1.2 Kingswood Drive is located south of Highway #2 and east of Townline
Road south in Courtice (see Attachment N0.2) .

1.3 Upon reviewing these Land Division Applications, the Town had imposed
several conditions for the approval of these severences.
1.4 Accordingly the applicant had satisfied all of the conditions, the
severences were cleared and permission was granted for the construction
of roads and services for the development of residential lots.
1.5 The Kingswood Drive road allowance abutting these severences is
comprised of the following parts:

Part 11 of Plan 1OR-2374
Part 5 and 14 of Plan 1OR-2773
Parts 15, 16, 17, 18 and 35 of Plan 10R-2622
Part 26 of Plan 2432
1.6 The lands in question are protected by 0.3 metre reserves, which were
required to control development. These reserves are described as follows:
Part 8, 9, and 10 of Plan 1OR-2374
Part 36 of Plan 1OR-2622
1.7 The Town was deeded the land described in Section 1.5, however
these parts had not been dedicated as public road allowance.
1.8 The development of these lands has proceeded in a manner satisfactory
to the Town and therefore the 0.3 metre reserves are no longer
required.
1.9 Based on Sections 1.7 and 1.8, it is now appropriate to dedicate all
the parts that form the Kingswood Drive road allowance including the
the 0.3 m reserves as public road allowances.
2.0 RECOMMENDATION
2.1 It is, therefore, recommended that a by-law be passed to dedicate
Part 11 of Plan 1OR-2374 and Parts 5 and 14 of Plan 10R-2773,
Parts 15, 16, 17, 18 and 35 of Plan 1OR-2622 and Part 26 and Plan 1OR-2432
and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute said by-law.
