THAT this report be received; and 2. THAT a By-law be passed to dedicate Block 28 of Plan 1OM-786 as Public Road Allowance and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute said by-law; and 3. THAT a copy of this report be forwarded to Mr. Edward R. Marks, Marks and Marks, Barristers and Solicitors, 54C Centre Street North, P.O. Box 35, Oshawa, Ontario, LlH 7K8. 1.0 BACKGROUND 1.1 Attached is a letter from Edward R. Marks, requesting the removal and dedication of 0.3 metre reserve, described as Block 28, of Plan 1OM-786, (see Attachment No.1) , abutting Salter Court. 2 Page 2 WD-53-88 1.2 Salter Court is a rural estates subdivision located in Lot 19 of Concession 8, in the former Darlington Township, (see Attachment No.2) • 1.3 The purpose of Mr. Marks request is to provide clear tachmentbNo� ted 3) access to Parts 1, 2 and 3 of Plan 10R-2660, (see At 1.4 The purpose of the reserve is to control development and access abutting these estate lots to Salter Court. 1.5 Parts 1, 2 and 3 are estate lots developed by Land Division Applications, and the Town upon review of same imposed several conditions. The applicant has now satisfied the conditions of Land Division and 1.6 T pp it is now appropriate to lift the 0.3 metre reserve and dedicate it as public road allowance. 2.0 RECOMMENDATION law be passed to dedicate 2.1 It is, therefore, recommended that a by- Block 28 of Plan 10M-786 as public road allowance and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the said by-law. i Respectfully submitted, Recommended for presentation to the Committee, seff, Walter A.
