SUB,ECT: PURCHASE OF EASEMENT FROM JAMES CHOW
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report WD-34-88 be received; and
2. THAT the offer of James Chow to sell an easement to the Town for
the sum of $1.00 for the purpose to construct a storm sewer
on and under the lands described as Part 1, Plan 1OR-2719
be excepted; and
3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the necessary
documents.

1.0 NEED FOR THE EASEMENT
1.1 The reconstruction of Queen Street in Bowmanville, in 1988,
includes the construction of storm sewers. The easement
is required to provide an outlet for the storm sewers from
Queen Street to the Bowmanville Creek.
1.2 James Chow has offered the easement to the Town for $1.00
