PUBLIC ROAD ALLOWANCE
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report WD-29-88 be received; and,
2. THAT a By-law be passed dedicating Part 7 and 8 of Plan 1OR-2848 as
Public Road Allowance and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized
to execute the necessary documents.
1.0 BACKGROUND
1.1 Attached is a copy of Plan 1OR-2848 (Attachment 1) outlining a
0.3 metre reserve owned by the Town (Block 20, Plan 1OM-779) that
was placed to control future development abutting Kingswood Drive.
1.2 Kingswood Drive is located east of Townline '-Road South, as
shown on Attachment 2.

1.2 The owner of a block of land abutting Kingswood Drive has
applied to develop this land by Land Division Application
LD 713/87 and LD 714/87, described as part 5 and 6 of plan
1OR-2848. (Attachment 1)
1.3 These land division applications were approved by the Land
Division Committee on November 2, 1987, subject to the Town's
condition of severance being satisfied.
1.4 The applicant has subsequently satisfied the Town's conditions
and it is now appropriate for the 0.3 metre reserve to be
removed.
2.0 RECOMMENDATIONS
2.1 It is, therefore, recommended that since the applicant has
satisfied the Town's conditions of severance it is now
appropriate that a by-law be passed by Council dedicating
part 7 and 8 of Plan 1OR-2848 as public road allowance.
