a. Movie Night:
i. Dec movie night was fantastic! It is so amazing to see so many
people show up to them!
ii. I was a little nervous about the January one, but we had about
15-20 kids
iii. Next movie night, I was thinking either, "IF" It is about
imaginary friends (Ryan Reynolds). Or "Harold and the Purple
Crayon", movie night is on Feb 7th at 6pm doors open.
b. Breakfast with Santa
i. Was a great success!! Thank you all who helped out.
ii. Tyrone Tackles hunger with our support from movie nights and
the breakfast and much more raised 6,630 Ibs of donated
items and $5,305.30 of cash and gift cards.
iii. I felt the breakfast had a great set up, and the flow was not
overwhelming at all.
iv. I think going forward we will continue the sign-up way and
maybe ask the people more in-depth questions about what
they do to support the community centre or what events have
they been too.
c. St. Patrick's Day Dance:
i. Working with 2 bands. One is a great big sea tribute band and
the other plays a little bit of everything... but is good at Bon
Jovi!
ii. Working on food.... but not 100% sure where / what we will be
going with yet.
iii. We need volunteers for the door and the bar, and help
cleaning up afterwards. — Who can help?
