RECOMMENDATIONS:
I
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report WD-27-88 be received; and,
2. THAT a By-law be passed dedicating Part 2 of Plan 1OR-2653 as
Public Road Allowance and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized
to execute the necessary documents, and;
3. THAT upon dedicating of this road widening, Lucian Michaels,
P.O. Box 2395, 50 Colborne Street East, Oshawa, Ontario, LlG 1L9,
be so advised.
REPORT
1.0 BACKGROUND
1.1 Attached is a copy of a letter from Lucian Michaels (Attachment 1)
requesting the dedication of a road widening on Waverly Road
described as Part 2 of Plan 1OR-2653.

1.2 The section of Waverly Road referred to in this report is shown
on Attachment 2.
1.3 As a result of a condition of land severance application LD 406/87
the Town received a road widening described as Part 2 of
Plan 1OR-2653. (Attachment 3)
1.4 The purpose of Mr. Michael's request is to obtain clear and
unobstructed access to Waverly Road.
1.5 We have reviewed this matter and find we have no objections to
Mr. Michael's request.
2.0 RECOMMENDATION
2.1 It is, therefore, recommended that the appropriate by-law be passed
to dedicate Part 2 of Plan 1OR-2653, as public road allowance.

Bowmanville.
We are .the solicitors for 682109 ONTA IO LIMITED who was the
owner of the abovenoted property. Our client obtai--ne-d .title .to. this
property from Kiddicorp Investments Limited and as a condition of a
severance a parcel of land ten feet in width along the front of these
properties was conveyed to. the Town of Newcastle for Road widening.
This parcel was described as Part 2 on Plan 1OR2653.
Would you kindly take whatever steps are necessary to
have part 2 on plan IOR2653 dedicated as a highway so. that .the new
owners of .the properties will have access from Waverly Road.
For your information, we are enclosing herewi.th a copy
of Reference Plan IOR2755 and we would ask .that you contact us should
you require anything further.
