Page 4 Intersection of Lambs Road and Concession Street East in the Municipality of Clarington Watermain Construction - Road Closure Works Department June 6, 2024 Public Notice 3 The Regional Municipality of Durham is completing watermain construction on Lambs Road from King Street East (Regional Highway 2) to Concession Street East. The work includes installation of a 900 millimetre diameter CPP watermain through the intersection of Lambs Road and Concession Street East. Construction Schedule The Region's contractor, D'Orazio Infrastructure Group, has mobilized and will be continuing installation of the watermains until April 2025. Unfavorable weather conditions may influence the work schedule. Road Closure The intersection of Lambs Road and Concession Street East will be closed to through traffic from June 10 to 14, 2024. A signed detour route will be in place. Municipal construction projects include the use of equipment which may cause noticeable noise and vibration for nearby residents and businesses. The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. When: July 2 to July 12. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule. Where: Eastbound lane restrictions on Regional Highway 2 from 180 metres east of Sandringham Drive to 250 metres east of Sandringham Drive, in Courtice.
