RECONSTRUCTION OF BASELINE ROAD
FROM SPRY AVENUE TO WAVERLEY ROAD
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended:
1. That this report be received; and,
2. That the Public Works Department be authorized to call tenders for the
reconstruction of Baseline Road from Spry Avenue to Waverley Road in
Bowmanville.

REPORT:
The 1986 Current Budget account includes the final stage of the Baseline
Road reconstruction project from Liberty Street to Waverley Road. This is
the section of road from Spry Avenue to Waverley Road, which is in a
continuing state of disrepair.
In order to acquire competitive prices and initiate an early spring
construction, it is recommended that staff be authorized to prepare and
advertise tenders for this project.
