HomeMy WebLinkAbout2024-020If this information is required in an alternate format, please contact the Accessibility Co-ordinator at 905-623-3379 ext. 2131 The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington By-law 2024-020 Being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, the Comprehensive Zoning By-law for The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington to lift the “H” Holding Symbol on certain lands with Registered Plan 40M 2753 being located at the south Northglen Boulevard and west of Middle Road, in Bowmanville (ZBA 2013-0022) Under the authority granted by the Province of Ontario through the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 and the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, Municipal Council has delegated to the Deputy CAO Planning & Infrastructure Services, with the passing of By-law 2023-014, as amended in By-law 2001-072, the authority to approve applications to remove holding symbols and pass related by-laws pursuant to s.34 of the Planning Act. Whereas the Deputy CAO Planning & Infrastructure Services is satisfied that the conditions for removing the “H” Holding Symbol on certain as shown on Schedule “A” to this By-law. Now therefore, be it enacted, and it is hereby enacted as a by-law of The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington as follows: 1. Schedule “3” to By-law 84-63, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing the zone designation from: “Holding-Urban Residential Exception ((H) R2-54) Zone” to “Urban Residential Exception (R2-54) Zone” “Holding-Urban Residential Exception ((H) R2-55) Zone” to “Urban Residential Exception (R2-55) Zone” “Holding- Urban Residential Exception ((H) R2-57) Zone” to “Urban Residential Exception (R2-57) Zone” “Holding-Urban Residential Exception ((H) R3-31) Zone” to “Urban Residential Exception (R3-31) Zone” as illustrated on the attached Schedule “A” hereto. 2. Schedule “A” attached hereto shall form part of the By-law. 3. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of approval, subject to the provisions of Sections 34 and 36 of the Planning Act.
