Danielle called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.

Committee Reports
Welcome to all
Food handlers course is this weekend. 7 commitee memeber are attending. Danielle will send out an
email to remind and if anyone else would like to come.
Danielle is waiting to hear back from the Community meetings.
Stratigic Plan will be sent out from the municipality for the year.
We have filled out the ice rink application.
Booking: Rentals that leave the place a mess, need to be charged for the extra clean up (deposit). Joy did
revise the contract, she added the bar part and was approved by Corrina. Added a diagram of how the
hall should be left.
min fee 250, and wants to make it 300
increase wine glass from 30 to 50$
rental rate: 4 hr rental $300, $600 jack and jill/ wedding, and regular events for $500. Wants to increase
to $600 for any event. make a motion to upgrade all, Crystal, all in favor yes.
Need more people who can be bartenders. only have 5 right now. Lyndsay and Corrine will get theirs.
Wants to know if the bartenders can have a bit more responsiblity other then the bar. Also to give them
the talk to tell them all the requirements for the day. Not alot of memebers are in agreement to this new
idea. but are coming up with ideas. Suggested for an event planner to pay. another option put in a claus
in the contract to only be able to see the hall 2 times and if there is more times they need to see they
need to pay. we will table this table and we will not move forward till we decide.
Treasurer: Saving: $50645.46 Cheque : $17658.91
talked to the bank to see if we can get more interest. 5.25% till the end of January so we can make
more.
Maintenance: Larry- Toilets had a problem and we have been told that they will be looked after in the
next few weeks by Tim (Clarington) Signs to but put up above the toilets that have the issues till they are
looked after. Larry is painting Oct 6th to 8th. Committee memeber are needed to help prep the walls and
take down pictures.

Old Business: fences are put in. A/C has been put in.
New Business: Movie Night Oct 20th. need to set up a few chairs for parents. Talked about our next
Dance Nov 4th. We decided to do a Tailgate theme. Corrine will do center piece and help out with
Decor.
