The current bank balance is $80,961.00. We will invite Sue our
bookkeeper to future meetings.

Safety and Decor:
The snowflake at Foodland has been flickering, the Municipality has
looked at it and determined there is no power supply issue with the outlet
but the best solution may be to unplug it for now.
Advertising:
There was lots of event content to share this month. On Instagram, our
accounts reached was up 198%, we reached 942 non -followers and had 36
new followers. Facebook had 29 new followers, post reach of 4597
accounts, interactions, comments, likes and shares were 2074

Community Hall Lighting (Friday, November 17th, 2023 at 6pm)
The attendance seemed less than in past years. The committee is meeting
and changing a few things for next year, new date, having Santa attend.
Santa Parade (Sunday, November 19th, 2023 at 5:30pm)
It was well attended. Everything ran smoothly, they had lots of volunteers
and would like to thank the many sponsors that made it possible.
Santa Breakfast (Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 at 8-1lam)
It was a great morning, we had 321 people attend. Kids loved visiting Santa
and dancing to the live entertainment.
8. CBOT: n/a
9. Chamber:
Working with Durham College and their Marketing contest in February. A
trophy and $500 will be awarded to a student in honour of Kevin Baker.
10. CIP/Economic Development/Street Scape: see attachment
11. New Business:
The Remembrance Day wreaths and crosses will come down. Kevin at the
Hall will be asked.
The AGM will be Monday, January 15th, 6:00pm. Theresa will ask John at
the Snug if we can use the back room. Cost will be $20 per person. An
email will be sent to invite members of the BIA.
