1.1 In accordance with Section 45 of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, all applications
received by the Municipality for minor variance are scheduled to be heard awit b
30 days of being received by the Secretary Treasurer. All applications he y
the Committee were approved.
1.2 A97/033 was not supported by Staff. During a conversation with staff, the
applicant suggested part of the accessory structure was to be used to make
jewellery. The applicant has two jewellery stores in nearby municipalities. The
use of an accessory structure for profit or gain is not permitted. At the meeting
the applicant advised that in addition to parking his vehicles,
the accessory
structure would be used for his hobby of metal sculpting, not jewellery making

1.3 Staff have reviewed the Committee's decisions and are satisfied that the decision
to approve the applications, is in conformity with the Official Plan policies,
consistent with the intent of the Zoning By -law, is minor in nature and desirable.
1.4 Council's concurrence with the Committee of Adjustment decisions is required in
order to afford Staff's official status before the Ontario Municipal Board in th e
event of an appeal of any decision of the Committee of Adjustment.
