Use of Soccer Pitch.
Recommendations :

Background:
The following is a list of Soccer Pitches within
the Town of Newcastle . Corresponding figures indicate
the number of times each pitch was used during the
months of May, June, July and August 1981 for games ,
practices excluded. (No records available) .

Town of Newcastle that are for the most part not used, due
to sub-standard conditions.

Comment :
The pitches available within the town , are for the
most part being well used. In many cases these fields
are also utilized as ball diamonds. These playing areas
are of good quality.
On the other hand, there are a number of playing
areas which are not used due to poor location, or are
c
of sub-standard condition .
Through the master plan study all the above facilities
will be addressed as to standards , location , and development .
