Recommendation :
It is respectfully recommended:
That the request of the Bowmanville Bantam Club
re : Consideration for rental billing be denied.
Background:
On Saturday, September 12th , 1981 , the Bowmanville
Bantam Hockey Club held a dance at the Darlington Sports
Centre to raise _funds for a trip to Sweden between December
26th, 1981 and January lath, 1982 .
The Bowmanville Bantam Club are asking for consideration
re : payment of , 240 . 00 for facility rental .
Comment :
i
Due to Budget restraints and restrictions regarding
revenue , the Department is not in the position to offer
services or facilities at no charge . Again, if the request j
was approved, it would set a precedent for any group or
organization.
