REPORT TO GENERAL PURPOSE AND
ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF APRIL 5, 1982

SUBJECT: TENDERS FOR BALL DIAMOND FENCING (SOPER CREEK PARK)
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Recommend that this report be received; and
2. That the Director of Community Services be .authorized
to call for "Tenders by Invitation"' for the fencing of
Soper Creek Park ball diamond.- A �
BACKGROUND & COMMENT:
As per the 1982 Budget discussions, a four (4) foot control fence is to be
erected around the playing area of the Soper Creek ball diamond at a cost
of $6,000.00.

If the above - mentioned project is to be completed for the upcoming season,
it would be appropriate to call Tenders at this time. Staff feel that
invited Tenders would be appropriate due to the limited number of suppliers.
