SUBJECT: 1983 PROPOSED FEES - NEWCASTLE FITNESS CENTRE
RECOMMENDATION:
1. That this report be received for information; and
2. That this report be forwarded to Council for approval and
implementation in January 1983.
BACKGROUND & COMMENT:
All memberships, facility rentals and multi purpose roor, rentals reflect a
price increase of 5% over the 1982 rates.
Single admission fees (ie) pay as you play squash and public swimming reflect
no increase over the 1982 fee structure. Our present rates for single
admissions are very competative (generally higher) with those of corres-
ponding agencies within the Region.
Also, you will note a "Couples" facility membership is being introduced
for the first time. Apparently many patrons have made this request to staff
at the Fitness Centre.
For your information, the following

Please note in 1982 Squash Membershipsand Facility Memberships were combined
as a result of increasing requests for Squash Memberships to include use of
the pool, sauna and whirlpool. As a result, all memberships at the Fitness
Centre are up in totals over 1981.
