SUBJECT: "THE GLEN" ON THE SHORES OF LAKE ONTARIO, NEWCASTLE VILLAGE
RECOP,INIENDATION:
1. That this report on the Glen be received for information.
BACKGROUND LON CWMENTS:
The land within the old Village of Newcastle on the shores of Lake Ontario known
locally as "The Glen" has been cleaned up.
Through the combined efforts of the Department of Public Works and the Department
of Community Services, this area now takes on a new look with three (3) picnic tables
two (2) garbage barrels, brush cleared, grass cut and two (2) signs posted regarding
keeping the area clean.
