BOWMANVILLE FIGURE SKATING CLUB As of [larch 1983, the Bowmanville Figure Skating Club became a private and separate entity from the Town of Newcastle. To date, the Club has not yet found out how they did financially in Carnival since all bills have not been received but at the least, it looks like they will break event. The new executive have been very busy setting things up for the 1983 -84 season. They are discussing with lawyers about becoming incorpor- ated which will cover any individual member from liability suits. Also, they have approached C.F.S.A. to obtain their blanket insurance coverage. Three of four professionals will be returning to the Club next season. Hembers of the executive will be interviewing for the fourth position on May 12, 1983. The Club is looking at expanding their programmes next season to include a Fall School as well as a Hockey Power Conditioning course for hockey players.
