Dear Mayor Rickard and Council Members:
A grant in the amount of $5,000.00 was approved by council to
purchase a baseball backstop for our park in Burketon.
Having only spent $3,375.00 we now have in mind to purchase
materials for bleachers and landscaping with the remaining $1,625.00.
The Burketon Park Board now requests council to re- allocate the
remaining fundsof $1,625.00 to be used by the park board to purchase
materials to construct bleachers and also trees for landscaping.
Manual labour to be supplied by the park board members.
Your support of this venture would be greatly appreciated.

Yours truly,
Mrs. L. Micklewright,
