Dear Council Members:
The Board of Directors of Newcastle Community Care
are very concerned about the condition of the side-
walk in front of our office at 19 Temperance Street.
The asphalt portion has many bumps and depressions
where water collects. The water puddles and ice
that form make it very hazardous for not only the
Seniors using our Drop -In Centre, but for the
general public as well.
We feel that this sidewalk could be greatly improved
by making it a standard cement sidewalk.
We hope that you will refer this request to your
Works Department for attention as soon as possible.
Yours truly, /
Mrs. Gail Rickard
Community Care Chairman
