HomeMy WebLinkAboutCS-60-86TOWN OF NEWCASTLE REPORT File # �� S Res.d' By -Law # MEETING: General Purpose and Administration Committee DATE: NOVEMBER 3, 1986 REPORT #: CS -60 -86 FILE #: SUBJECT: DAMAGE - NEWCASTLE TENNIS COURTS LIGHTS RECOMMENDATIONS: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: - 1. That Report CS -60 -86 be received; and 2. That the replacement cost ($1,009.51) of the damaged Newcastle Tennis Court light be funded from the Self Insured Losses Reserve account (2900- 00002 -X -7). BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: In as much as it is council's policy to require damage reports involving funding from our Self Insured Losses Reserve account the following is before committee for approval. A severe storm in late July was responsible for damaging the casing of one light fixture at the Newcastle tennis courts adjacent to the Newcastle Lions Pool. Some difficulty was encountered in obtaining a replacement fixture; however, a replacement fixture has now been secured at a cost of $1,009.51. It is staff's recommendation that this item be funded from the Self Insured Losses Reserve account 2900 - 00002 -X -7. ../2 V/. 5-, 0 General Purpose and Administration Committee REPORT NO.
